How to shape

a pine wreath

Begin by putting your wreath face down on a flat surface and pulling all of the outermost branches straight out all around to resemble a starburst pattern.  This brings your wreath to its largest width potential.

Next, turn the wreath over on a flat surface and pick a starting point on your wreath.  Pull each individual branch outward and tilt forward slightly, working either clockwise or counter-clockwise, as long as you continue always in the same direction.

Do this all the way around the wreath until you end up where you started.  It is important to touch every branch so that none are “clumped” together.  Separating them creates the fullness of the wreath.

Lastly, move a few branches in the center of the wreath to create a nice circle both inside and out, finishing your wreath.
